Our story

ConnectSRQ is Sarasota’s new premier business networking series, created to build a stronger, more connected local business community while giving back to important local causes.

Founded by DJ Joey D and DJ Jayme, ConnectSRQ was born from a shared passion for bringing people together in meaningful ways. Drawing from years of experience in the Sarasota event and radio scene, we saw the need for networking events that feel fresh, fun, and genuinely valuable — combining tropical energy, creativity, and real relationship-building with a commitment to supporting the community.

At ConnectSRQ, we believe great business happens through great connections. Our events are designed to be more than just mixers — they’re experiences where business owners, entrepreneurs, professionals, and creatives can connect in a relaxed, inspiring atmosphere surrounded by good music, art, and positive vibes.
